EST-2010 is a follow on from the successful Symposia on Bio-Inspired Learning and Intelligent Systems for Security (BLISS) which took place at the University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2009.  The focus of the Robots and Security (ROBOSEC) Symposium  was the intersection between robotics and security. It includes both topics related to future roles of robots for security as well  as the topics related to security and trustworthiness of robotic platforms, which have to defend themselves against interception of their transmitted intelligence or hostile take-over of their controls. Distinguished Keynote Speakers included Prof Ronald C Arkin, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, Prof Wael Adi, Technical University of Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany, Prof Paolo Fiorini, University of Verona, Italy
